The Global Transitions program offers students an opportunity to enhance their university experience - by volunteering in Ghana. Interested in seeing the world and becoming a true global citizen? This could be the program for you! Participants of the GT Program will have the opportunity to spend 3 months in Ghana (located in West Africa), learning through volunteering, and receiving University credit.
Participants of the Global Transition program will complete one-half university credit (INTC 1P20) in the summer prior to departure. While abroad, students will complete an additional full-year University credit (INTC 2F05).
Program Start Date
If accepted, you will start your first on-line course in July and depart for your placement in September. You will have the opportunity to return to Brock and start your classes in January 2014. Or, you can continue to explore the world and resume classes the following September. Regardless of either start date, you will still be eligible to receive the same "perks" of a first year student (guaranteed on-campus housing and entrance scholarships).
Field Placement Opportunities
You will have 3 different placement fields to select from.
