Peer Mentor Program
Until April 8, Melanie and Stephanie, two senior students who are majors in the department, are available to help answer your questions and offer advice on a variety of things related to being a student in Classics including how to prepare for exams, what the overseas courses are like, and how you can get involved in BUAS (the undergraduate Classics club). Drop by IC 351, the undergraduate workroom, with your questions!

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 to 1 p.m. (Stephanie)
  • Wednedays from 1 to 3 p.m. (Melanie) **please note that Melanie will not be available on March 27**

 

Research and Academic Skills Resources

  • Classics Research Guide (links to Classics resources at Brock's Gibson Library)
  • Cambridge Ancient History on-line and some Cambridge Companions (through the Gibson Library)
  • Learning Skills Services (workshops on essay writing, study skills and more)
  • Student Development Centre (a variety of academic and non-academic services available)
  • APh On-line: The Basics (a help-video created by librarians at Brock that explains step-by-step how to search for articles and books using the L'AnnĂ©e Philologique database, a very useful resource for research in Classics)
