The Brock Days tradition continues as Brock’s annual community and homecoming celebration enters its final week of events culminating in weekend activities at the Niagara Wine Festival in Montebello Park.
On Friday, Sept. 25, Brock hosts its yearly Brock Days concert and grape stomp at the University. Enjoy the sights and sounds in Jubilee Court during a free lunchtime concert with Desire: A Tribute to U2. And then take part in the messiest student tradition on campus, as more than 200 people take part in the annual grape stomp.
The stomp begins at 12:30 p.m. and everyone is invited to join in the festivities. Those who wish to register a team can contact Community Connections at 905-688-5550 x5434 or firstname.lastname@example.org
The event is free, but canned food donations for Brock’s Community Care Food Drive are greatly appreciated.
Brock will again enter a float in the wine festival Grande Parade on Saturday, Sept. 26, and from 12 noon to 4 p.m., graduates and community members are invited to meet at Montebello Park. Come and reconnect with fellow graduates, enjoy wine seminars or take a break at the Brock Café. There will also be activities for children hosted by Youth University.
Wine seminars hosted by Brock and VINES magazine take place in the park at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26 and Sunday, Sept. 27. All are welcome to come out and meet winemakers, and learn about and taste various wines.
