Field Placements
SPMA 3P02 - Sport Management Field Work
Placement in an internal Brock University sport or sport-related organization. Placements will be determined by instructor.
Instructional aspects include topics surrounding preparation for professional engagement in the sport industry.
Tutorials, 2 hours alternating weeks, plus 80 hours field work.
Restriction: Open to SPMA majors with a minimum of 8.0 overall credits
Prerequisites: SPMA 2P05 and 2P06
Note: Students repeating this course are not guaranteed a placement.
SPMA 4P92 - Sport Management Practicum
Field placement with sport-related groups and organizations, as secured by student, in consultation with instructor.
80 hour placement.
Restriction: Open to SPMA majors with 13 credits, first three years of SPMA core completed and permission of the instructor.
Note: Students may not concurrently register in SPMA 4F01 and 4F02
