Eligibility to Transfer:
Bachelor of Accounting:
To be eligible for admission to the BAcc program (or to transfer from another program), a student must meet all of the following requirements:
A) Completion of at least 2.5 major credits required in the BAcc, including all of the following:
• Both ACTG 1P91 and ACTG 2P12 or both ACTG 1P11 and ACTG 1P12
The following major courses are open to both business and non-business students: ACTG 1P91, ACTG 2P12, MATH 1P97, MATH 1P98, ECON 1P91, ECON 1P92.
B) A minimum 70% in BAcc major courses (including any major courses in excess of the 2.5 major credits required in A).
C) A minimum 75% average on all ACTG courses completed.
D) A minimum overall average of 60%.
The above regulations are subject to change. Admission or readmission will be subject to the Calendar regulations in effect at the time of application.
Students planning to apply for admission to the BAcc are NOT ADVISED to take the following courses: ENTR 2P51, FNCE 2P50, FNCE 2P51, MGMT 1P51, MGMT 1P52, MGMT 3P51, MKTG 2P51, MKTG 2P52, OBHR 2P51, OBHR 2P52, OPER 2P51. These courses are not open to business majors. They will not be considered in computation of the major average and cannot be included as part of the 20.0 credits required for the BAcc degree
Students must complete a Declare or Change of Major form.
The form must be completed and submitted by June 1st. The BAcc is a limited enrolment program. Admission is NOT guaranteed by attainment of the minimum requirements outlined.
Bachelor of Business Administration:
To be eligible for admission to the BBA program (or to transfer from another program), a student must meet all of the following requirements:
A) Completion of at least 2.5 major credits required in the BBA, including all of the following:
• ACTG 1P91
• At least one of the MATH courses listed below
• At least one of the ECON courses listed below
The following major courses are open to both business and non-business students: ACTG 1P91, ACTG 2P12, MATH 1P97, MATH 1P98, ECON 1P91, ECON 1P92, ECON 2P23.
B) A minimum average of 65% on all completed courses designated as major credits in the BBA (including any major courses in excess of the 2.5 major credits required in A).
C) A minimum overall average of 60%.
