Open House at Brock on Sunday, March 7

Published on March 05 2010

More than 3,000 prospective students and guests will visit Brock University on Sunday, March 7, for its annual Open House.

The event is an opportunity for future students and their families, and members of the community to get a sneak peek at the Brock experience.

The Open House runs from 1 to 4 p.m. and features tours, seminars and information events. Students have the chance to win free tuition for a half-credit course and can speak with professors and students from every program and service at Brock.

Information will be provided about Brock's Co-op and internship programs and Experience Plus — a program that provides students with valuable work experience while obtaining their degree.

There will be talks throughout the day for students to learn about the more than 72 undergraduate programs offered by the Faculties of Applied Health Sciences, Business, Education, Humanities, Mathematics and Science, and Social Science.

The Faculty of Graduate Studies will also be on hand to provide information to prospective graduate students about Brock’s 39 graduate programs.

To register, visit and click on “Open House”. Full details about parking and where to go on campus will be provided upon registration.
