Dr. Stefan Brudzynski (PSYC) Earns Professional Honour
Published on July 22 2014
The Faculty of Social Sciences would like to extend congratulations to Stefan Brudzynski (PSYC). He was recently awarded the very prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award at the 23rd Annual Meeting of the International Behavioral Neuroscience Society (IBNS). The inscription on the plaque reads that the award is for “Scientific Contributions to the Field of Behavioral Neuroscience”. This award is only handed out periodically and is akin to a lifetime achievement award. In the last 10 years it has only been granted 3 times (twice to Canadians). The IBNS is a world-wide association with members in 34 countries and has established three highly respected international journals, so this recognition brings true international attention to Brock University; particularly the Psychology and Neuroscience programs. Stefan joined the IBNS in 1993, received the status of Fellow in 2005 and has served on the executive of the IBNS as treasurer since 2008. On behalf of the entire Faculty we wish Stefan sincere congratulations for this well-deserved recognition of his decades of contributions to the field of Behavioral Neuroscience.
