Published on July 07 2014

A Goodman MSc alumnus is returning home to Brock as part of the University’s Visiting International Scholar (VIS) program. International researchers and scholars who are part of the VIS program have the opportunity to collaborate with Brock faculty and students.

Abdul Rehman Ashraf (MSc ’10) is currently a PhD candidate at the Australian School of Business, University of New South Wales. Ashraf will spend the next three months collaborating with Narongsak (Tek) Thongpapanl, associate professor of Marketing at the Goodman School of Business.

Thongpapanl was Ashraf’s research supervisor and their research partnership has continued even after Ashraf began his doctoral studies abroad. Most recently, they were coauthors of a paper entitled The Application of the Technology Acceptance Model under Different Cultural Contexts: The Case of Online Shopping Adoption. The paper will be published in a forthcoming edition of the Journal of International Marketing.

Ashraf will be presenting his research to faculty and students on Friday, September 12, 2014 between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
