Update on University System Outages

ITS staff have been working tirelessly over the past several weeks to ensure that the University's IT systems are functioning optimally. The server outages experienced since the beginning of the month have resulted from several pieces of hardware that have failed and now require critical maintenance.
At 5:00 p.m. today (Friday, Jan. 25) we will be taking users of Exchange e-mail (Outlook web access, Mail and Calendar) offline to migrate to stable storage. Exchange service is expected to be available again by early Saturday.
