Published on June 08 2012

Brock University and Niagara College will host the 2012 Canadian Association of College and University Student Services (CACUSS) conference from June 10 to 13.

The conference theme “CACUSS 12.0 - Engaging Digital Citizens” looks at how technology has become a major part of the student experience in colleges and universities.

Students and student services professionals alike are connected like never before. The conference will celebrate and explore how members engage students digitally while also considering the best ways to enhance their educational experiences.

About 675 delegates from Canadian colleges and universities are expected to attend the conference, which is the largest professional development forum for student affairs professionals in Canada.

Attendees will include chief student affairs officers (VPs, AVPs, deans), co-ordinators, managers and directors who make policy and programming decisions about accessibility, Aboriginal student services, residences, admissions, international services and recruitment, domestic recruitment, ESL services, career planning, health services, student awards and financial aid and counselling, among others.
