Brock Business student wins Women In Business Award

Congratulations to Alyssa Freeman, President of the Brock Business Students' Association.  Alyssa was recognized at the Niagara Women in Business Awards winning the Up and Coming Award as the most outstanding female post-secondary student in business marketing or event management.

Alyssa was recognized for her work with the BSA, which represents 2,600 students, encouraging them to become invoved in school and the community.  Alyssa oversees the group's budget and leads a team of five executives.  She has also been involved in Random Act of Kindness Day, Groovin' for Charity, Brock Bowl for Kids and Shinerama.  In addition to her school work, she manages 15 employees as a floor manager at the Can View Drive-in theatre.

Alyssa was presented the award at the Niagara Women in Business Awards ceremony held on Wednesday, January 25.
