Nuit Blanche Brock 2011 – A Celebration of Contemporary Art!

On Friday November 25th, 2011, between 6 p.m. and midnight, Brock University will be transformed as we present Nuit Blanche Brock 2011 – a multidisciplinary celebration of installation, time-based and performance art. This free community event organized by the Department of Visual Arts is a unique one-night experience!

Engage in the creative diversity that distinguishes the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts. With student artists and performers participating from the Departments of Dramatic Arts, Music and Visual Arts, this event will showcase an eclectic variety of art works including drawings, sculpture, dance, photography, video, installation and performances.

Nuit Blanche Brock 2011 will be held in the following locations on campus: Walker Complex, Thistle Complex, James A. Gibson Library, Market Hall and the Mackenzie Chown complex. Nuit Blanche Brock 2011 is Brock's third Nuit Blanche event building upon the tremendous success of Nuit Blanche Brock 2008 and 2010.

Maps will be available at the Schmon Tower Information Desk and outside the Market Hall in the Thistle Corridor, and can be viewed online: http://www.brocku.ca/node/18004

Such events from the Department of Visual Arts are key to the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts' mandate to connect the community with the breadth of talent and creativity at Brock University.

Join us for this free community event on Friday, November 25, 2011, between 6 p.m. and midnight. Uncover ART – and discover the unexpected!
