New Resource: LexisNexis Academic Core

The Library recently initiated a subscription to LexisNexis Academic Core, which is a powerful, easy-to-use, web-based database specifically designed for the needs of academic researchers. It provides access to over 6,000 credible individual full-text news, legal, and business publications including:
- over 350 newspapers from around the world in English and major European languages including the New York Times and the Times of London, magazines, newsletters, newswires, and transcripts.
- Canadian, US, and International case law, statutes, regulations, law reviews and journals and patents.
- additional Canadian legal materials including administrative board and tribunal decisions, commentary, citators and indexes.
- business and financial news and trade publications, company profiles and financials.
The Company Dossier service enables users to generate customized reports on 35 million US and International companies derived from a cross-section of relevant sources. Citations may be exported directly to RefWorks accounts.
