Brock Basecamp Now open to all incoming first year undergraduates

The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences and the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies are pleased to be offering an innovative orientation program for incoming first-year undergraduate students to Brock University.
Brock BaseCamp (BBC) offers five-day canoeing or backpacking trips which are led by current Brock students with the primary goals of creating community and providing a forum for incoming students to learn about first-year life at Brock. If there is adequate demand, trips specifically for graduate students will be offered in 2011.
June 1 (Registration opens)
August 16 – 20 (Backpacking)
August 16 – 20 (Canoeing)
August 23 – 27 (Backpacking)
August 23 – 27 (Canoeing)
$695.00 (Includes all group equipment (tents, camp stoves, water filters, cooking equipment, etc.), food from lunch on Monday through a pizza dinner on return to Brock on Friday, complimentary use of a sleeping bag, pad and pack, leadership, camping fees and transportation to/from trip locations from Brock.)
