Health & Safety Awareness Training for all Employees!

What is the "Health & Safety Awareness Training"?
The "Health & Safety Awareness Training" was developed to meet the requirements of Ontario Regulation 297/13 "Occupational Health and Safety Awareness and Training". The training combines the requirements of both the basic occupational health and safety awareness training for Workers and Supervisors.

Who needs to take this training?
This training is required to be taken by all Brock University Employees.

Why do I need to take this training?
All Employees in Ontario are required to take this training by law (Ontario Regulation 297/13). Understanding the concepts with this training will provide a solid foundation with respect to health and safety in the workplace and the role you play in make the workplace safe.

Should Employees notify their Supervisor about taking this training?
Yes. Employees must get approval from their Supervisor before registering for this in-class training.
