The Professional Masters Preparation Certificate Program, Faculty of Education requires instructors for PMPC 6P10, 6P11, 6P12, and 6P13 for the Fall 2013 term. The Instructors are responsible for the preparation and teaching of weekly lesson plans, assignments, assessment and evaluation of studentsí learning and achievements, and record keeping. In addition, the instructors are responsible for attending weekly meetings with the PMPC Program English Language Coordinator, to ensure the courses meet the objectives and learning outcomes specified by the Department.
The minimum qualifications for new non-credit instructors are a related undergraduate degree and a TESL Certificate with a supervised practicum; Masterís level qualifications in related areas (e.g. Education, Applied Linguistics, or English); post-secondary teaching experience with international students, especially in ESL/EFL, is considered an asset.
