Job Summary

Business English instructors will be teaching 4x1hrs sessions per day from Monday to Friday. The Business English program runs from August 2nd-30th, 2013. Instructors are responsible for the preparation of weekly lesson plans, tests, quizzes and assignments for their courses highlighting objectives and learning goals of the Goodman School of Business curriculum. They are also responsible for the marking and evaluation of in-class work and record keeping and attending weekly meetings with the program co-ordinator.


The minimum qualifications for a new non-credit instructor is a related undergraduate degree and a TESL Certificate with a supervised practicum; Masterís level qualifications in related areas (e.g. Applied Linguistics, English, Languages, Business Communications) are considered an asset; post-secondary teaching experience, especially in ESL/EFL and Business English, is very desirable.
