Brock University graduate students are invited to participate in Part 3 of our annual Mapping the New Knowledges Conference.

Part 3 of our conference will feature Graduate Student Research Presentations and GSA workshops.

The session is scheduled for Thursday April 14, 2011, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Brock University. This conference day will include graduate student oral presentations and poster presentations.

The conference organizing committee is now accepting graduate student proposals for this event.

Graduate students are encouraged to submit a 250-word abstract outlining the focus of their proposed oral or poster research presentation. The oral research presentation session will feature 20-minute student oral presentations arranged in panels in a conference-day format. The poster session will be held during the conference day and will feature student poster presentations. Poster presenters will be asked to be available to discuss their research projects with audience members.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduate students to present their research to fellow students and faculty and also to develop their conference presentation skills. The presentations will be accompanied by a series of professional development workshops arranged by Brock’s Graduate Students’ Association.
