NSI Niagara Energy Summit

The Green Energy Act established a new framework for electricity conservation and demand management (CDM) in Ontario. In accordance with the directive, electricity distributors were required to take steps to set and meet electricity reduction targets. The purpose of NSI’s Energy Summit is to provide knowledge and resource sharing to support CDM Programs and other energy reduction projects across the region. We invite local distribution companies (LDCs), including our existing members as well as energy product and technology innovators to take part.
Through this summit, the Niagara Sustainability Initiative (NSI) aims to provide the tools and resources for Carbon Project members, other businesses and interested community members to make their ambitious energy reduction ideas into reality. The summit will provide an opportunity for attendees, vendors and LDCs to connect, form partnership and find innovative solutions that will serve the region as we transition into a low carbon future.
