I am planning to work part time while I'm at school. Since my on-line schedule indicates that I don't have any classes on some days, is there anything that will prevent me from working on those days?
The Brock teacher education program is a full-time degree program. Teacher candidates should expect to have coursework and/or practice teaching responsibilities on all weekdays, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of some evening classes.

I have not received my police records check in the mail yet. Can I still practice teach in schools?
No. A police records check with vulnerable sector screening that is no older than 6 months is required to practice teach in schools.

Can you tell me what exactly a P/J/I internship centre day (IN) is and where it is held? Am I able to choose the days that I attend for internship days? I see a minimum of 9 are required.
Internship days, for P/J/I teacher candidates, are held in schools which are associated with your Cohort. They provide teacher candidates with opportunities to observe and assist an associate teacher in the classroom and school. Further information about internship days will be shared with teacher candidates during the first week of the program. All internship days will be assigned by your faculty advisors.

I have been placed in a Cohort that is far from where I live. Can I switch Cohorts?
Once you have been placed in a Cohort you cannot normally switch. To ensure fairness when placing teacher candidates into Cohorts, we place teacher candidates in one of their preferred Cohorts on a first-come, first-serve basis until all Cohorts are full.
