In professional and continuing studies, we offer programming that is specifically tailored to industry needs and demands. These programs can be pilot programs, international training bridging programs, or programs designed for external partners that are offered through Brock University and are open to the public.

Our custom designed special programs are partner based and industry focused programs open to the public that often combine the real-world knowledge of our partners with the institutional support and expertise from Brock.

Bridging programs help educated professionals gain Canadian-based recognition for their skills. These programs can be offered by a community partner through Brock or be directly developed by Brock.

Bridging Programs

Bridging programs are special programs designed to help recent immigrants and other newcomers to Canada gain recognition for their internationally recognized credentials or assist newcomers transition their skills for the Canadian workspace. These programs are also known as Bridge Training Programs.

Bridging Programs Offered at Brock University

Bridge the gap between your international post-secondary education and experience to employment in Canada. Goodman Group’s Canadian Business for Internationally Trained Professionals (ITPs) certificate is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to secure commensurate employment. Not only will you acquire and develop technical skills, but also the communication and interpersonal skills currently being sought after by Canadian employers.

The CCES advanced certificate prepares students for the rigours of post-secondary studies in the broad field of Education and related disciplines.

The LCBE advanced certificate prepares graduates for positions in community-based educational settings with internships and an introduction to Canadian workplace practices.
