Welcome to China


Explore the beauty of the Mandarin language and get a taste of Chinese culture. This introductory course, offered through the Confucius Institute, combines basic conversational Mandarin along with workshops that provide an introduction to various Chinese traditions. Each week, you’ll learn new words and phrases while gaining cultural knowledge through the art of tea, Chinese brush calligraphy, tai chi, and cooking.

Conversational Italian

Benvenuto in Italia! Italian is the language of art, classical architecture and Renaissance beauty. This is an introductory course; no previous exposure to Italian is necessary.

Introduction to sign language

American Sign Language (ASL) is a beautiful and expressive language. This course will emphasize non-verbal communication as students learn basic vocabulary, sentence structure, facial expressions, signing parameters and other grammatical markers. Students will build basic expressive and receptive skills in ASL that will be reinforced by a variety of activities.
