Mountain biking level 1
Entry-level mountain bikers will embark on a fall adventure. Learn the fundamental skills necessary to safely navigate the trails as you climb and descend the escarpment, overcome obstacles such as roots, rocks and logs and learn shifting techniques to gain control over your bike. Learn the basics of bike maintenance and repair. This adventure course is action packed, sustainable and progressive in difficulty. No experience necessary. Please have a bike shop conduct a safety check on your bike before the course begins.

Off-season training for cycling
Don’t let the winter disrupt your riding routine. For many athletes, the off-season is the most difficult time of year. Shorter days, lost focus, lower fitness level and limited training partners in chilly weather. What to do? Join us for a 5-week off- season training workshop that will provide you with the fuel for secret training. The off-season is the time to build the foundation for a solid upcoming cycling season.

Ready…set…relax
Are you constantly feeling stressed by all the demands that are placed upon you at work and home? Would you like to learn how to cope more effectively with the stress of daily life? In this 5-week course we will explore various coping skills for stress including emotional freedom technique, mindfulness meditation, breathing techniques and relaxation. Learning to relax your mind is a skill that can be developed by anyone when given the proper tools and with practice

Meditation for healing
Come ready to challenge yourself and discover the daily practice of meditation. These five weeks will be a chance to bring positive change in the direction that you choose.  We will learn different approaches to meditation including guided relaxation of the different levels of consciousness; breathing exercises to induce relaxation and well-being; chakra meditation; visualization; sound immersing and self-inquiry.  Each class will present history and theory and ample practice.
