Food On Campus for Students

In Residence

Students have the economical option of cooking for themselves when they live in Quarry View Residence. 4 guests share a common kitchen for preparing meals. You will need to bring your own utensils and cookware. Your arrival booklet will outline some grocery stores in the area that are just a few minutes by bus.

On Campus

Students and their parents are welcome to fill up their student card to access meals in the dining hall and at kiosks on and off campus. To find out where this card can be used go to this link or where to go to fill up your card online.

Food Nearest Quarry View - Just a quick 5 minute walk there are food services, it might be worth a stop in Mr. Sub and Sante Fe pizza. Tim Horton’s sells soups and sandwiches, and your student card can get you a McDonald’s combo at a discount. The new International Services building has a Noodle Bar for some great ethnic food!

All-You-Can-Eat Dining in DeCew Residence Dining Hall - The dining hall is open only when conferences are scheduled there. Call the Front Desk at x3369 to find out what the meal hours are this week or walk by the desk where they are posted daily. You can use Brock One Card at the door.

The Market Place - Visit the new restaurant, bakery & gourmet Food Store. Open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm on the lower level of the Thistle Complex. Featuring Rotisserie Chicken, Deli Bar, Shaker Salads, Monogolian Grill, Fresh Produce and loads of freshly baked offerings.

Brock Farmer’s Market – Every Friday starting in June in Jubilee Court there will be live music and fresh produce for sale. (11:30 am to 1:30pm)

Union Station- BUSU’s food court is probably the cheapest place to get a full meal on campus at lunch-time during the Summer. Get whatever you feel like – Chinese food, pizza, burgers and fries, subs, pasta, or soups and salads – and add it to a combo to get the most out of your dollar.

Walker Complex Food Court - The Walker Complex Food Court offers a pizza oven, a burger grill, a Mr. Sub, and Tim Horton’s products. Pizza, donuts, and bagels are your cheapest options. Be prepared to spend close to $10 for a large sub. The schedule varies on when this is open in the summer months.

Tim Horton’s - For a quick snack or a coffee, the Tim Horton’s kiosk in the Tower and close to the Computer Commons are a popular option for students.
