BIOGRAPHY
Robyn Sarah was born in New York City in 1949. Her parents were Canadian, and soon moved the family back to Canada, settling in Montreal, where Sarah has since lived. She studied music at the Conservatoire du Quebec, and received her B.A. and M.A. degrees from McGill University. She is known for her interest in form and experiment in poetry; her 1998 collection, Questions about the Stars, features a long poem that incorporates collage and draws on Stephen Hawking's Brief History of Time.

The Canadian Women Poets website is co-owned and maintained by Marilyn Rose and Erica Kelly,
