Annual emergency exercise on campus this Wednesday June 17

alert-icon1This Wednesday June 17, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., an annual emergency training exercise will take place at Brock University’s main campus.

The exercise, which consists of a virtual crisis situation enacted in real time, tests the University’s Emergency Management Team on aspects of emergency response and management as mandated by its Emergency Management Plan.

No disruptions of campus services or operations are expected during the scenario, however Brock’s Emergency Notification System (ENS) may be activated as part of the exercise. If that happens, a “test” message may be sent to some or all of the following:

  • email
  • voice mail
  • electronic emergency scrolling signs
  • P.A. system (where applicable)

Please direct any inquiries to Rick Fraser, manager, Emergency Management & Life Safety at x3130; rfraser2@brocku.ca. Or contact Campus Security Services’ Central Communications & Monitoring Centre at x4300/3200; security@brocku.ca
