Fall heating adjustments have now been made on campus

Pathway in the autumn forest

As we enter autumn weather cycles of low night temperatures and warmer daytime temperatures, Facilities Management staff have now completed the seasonal changeover of campus systems to heating for winter operation.

Due to the type of heating and cooling systems used in different parts of Brock University’s main campus, many buildings are not capable of heating and cooling during the same cycle.

Most main campus buildings get heating and cooling from Brock’s central cogeneration plant. However, standalone heating and cooling systems are in place at Cairns Family Health Bioscience Complex, Plaza Building, Kenmore Center, Harrison Hall, Lowenberger Residence, Village Residence and all satellite campuses.

Anyone having questions or concerns about conditions in their building should contact Facilities Management at x3717 (facilities.management@brocku.ca) or contact David McArthur, Associate Director, Maintenance and Utilities at x3278 (dmcarthur@brocku.ca).
