Campanelli to join the Homecoming party

Rick Campanelli (BPhEd '94)Rick “The Temp” Campanelli (BPhEd ’94)’, Brock alumnus and co-host of entertainment show ET Canada, is coming to Brock to be a part of our 50th anniversary Homecoming weekend Sept. 18-21.

Join Campanelli and fellow Badgers as we paint the town red. From pub nights to athletic games, live music to more than 20 planned reunions, this year’s Homecoming weekend is jam-packed with something for everyone.

Bring your Badger gear to cheer on our men’s hockey team on the night of Friday, Sept. 19 at the annual RBC Steelblade Classic. Afterwards, head downtown to the Mansion House for what is sure to be a great victory party. Let loose, share a pint or two; Pat Hewitt and Tea with Lincoln will keep the party going all night.

Saturday night the Brock University Alumni Association will honour exceptional alumni at the Alumni Recognition Reception. A toast will be made to all Cameo Club, Distinguished Alumni, and Faculty Award recipients.

The celebrations will continue at this year’s Homecoming highlight—the Red Dinner. Several vendors will showcase their finest cuisine on wheels at this tented picnic, including Avella’s Wood Fired Oven, The Tide and Vine Oyster Company, The Itty Bitty Pie Company, and Southern Smoke Truck. Sample local wines made by Brock alumni, dance the night away to live entertainment, and reunite with fellow Brock alumni.

Dress code for the weekend is Brock casual —wear your Brock colours and gear!

Tickets are selling fast, and we have reserved accommodations for those making the trip. Visit brocku50.ca for more details, and to register.

Parking is complimentary all weekend.
