Alongside the usual selection of fresh, local fruits and vegetables, Niagara VQA wine will be available for purchase at the Brock Farmer's Market for the first time in seven years beginning June 27.

The Brock Farmer’s Market will have a new addition this year.

Alongside the usual selection of fresh, local fruits and vegetables, Niagara VQA wine will be available for purchase for the first time in seven years.

“VQA wines can now be purchased at farmer’s markets, allowing guests to try some incredible local Niagara wines onsite, but also grab a bottle of their favourite red or white for the weekend,” said William Parent, Brock Hospitality Services‘ hospitality event coordinator. “This will allow for some great exposure to the Brock community for our alumni winemakers.”

The market will feature close to 15 vendors over the summer, and guests can also enjoy live music each week while having their lunch.

The market kicks off June 27 and runs each Friday through the end of August from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m in Jubilee Court.
