Brock’s Department of Political Science is holding a panel April 9 to discuss the Quebec election results. Panelists Juris Dreifelds, Janique Dubois, Sanjay Jeram and Matthew Hennigar will discuss the fallout from the April 7 vote, as well as the future of Quebec politics.

Liberals swept to power, winning 70 of 125 seats to claim a resounding majority over the separatist Parti Quebecois.

“No matter what the result, the 2014 provincial campaign has stirred debate about controversial issues like corruption, sovereignty and the Charter of Values,” the Department says.

The panel is scheduled for 12 noon in Plaza 410. Everyone is welcome. For more information, contact Sanjay Jeram or Janique Dubois.
