The third-year program, which is run by International Services & Programs Abroad, enables Brock students to learn and study in another culture.

Students spend three months living abroad, while enrolled in online Brock Intercultural Studies credits.

This September, the GT program sent Meghan Davidson, Meghan Michael, Sarah Holt and Sara Camplin to Ghana.

“The kids (amazed) me every day with their great potential and undying energy,” said Michael, a Concurrent Education student and aspiring teacher who volunteered at a primary school in Ghana. “And it turns out these kids have just as much to teach me. I can honestly say I am the happiest I have ever been. I (didn’t) want my time here in Ghana to end.”

There are 15 potential spots available for the program, and candidates can apply directly out of high school or can be an upper year student.

The presentations will begin at 12 p.m. in Plaza 409.
