A police investigation has determined that a suspicious package found in the Alumni-Student Centre earlier Wednesday afternoon is not a threat to safety.

The Plaza Building and adjacent roads have been re-opened. Classes in Plaza will take place this evening. The Alumni-Student Centre remains closed as police wrap up their investigation. Operations in all other buildings on campus are proceeding normally.

Transit will resume pickups and drop-offs in front of the Schmon Tower and the area has been re-opened to pedestrians.
