Hello, I am not a musician. I am the manager of the Grande Prairie Farmers’ Market in Alberta. We are having a problem attracting local musicians because we generally require them to busk. If you don’t mind my asking how do you compensate your musicians? We have a very limited budget and can’t pay them although I do think they deserve something. We have offered gift certificates but most want cash. I have done a little research to see if their is some kind of grant I can apply for to pay musician but I haven’t found anything yet. I was just wondering if you had any tips to share.
    Thank you.
