Brock community to recycle unplugged waste this week for Earth Day (April 22)

Earth Day is the largest civic observance in the world with more than 1 billion people participating in eco-friendly activities and events in their respective communities.
Brock University will mark Earth Day (April 22) this year by hosting a weeklong drive to collect unwanted digital clutter and electronic waste for recycling starting Monday.
“Every year, tonnes of e-waste needlessly ends up in landfills,” says Tom Saint-Ivany, chair of Brock’s Sustainability Co-ordinating Committee and Associate VP of Facilities Management. “Making the effort to recycle these materials is just one of many things that we as a community can do to help our environment.”
